"Before"
The flagstone pathway from our driveway to the back door of our house
was beginning to become a tripping hazard.
A heel or a toe could get caught in the crack between stones.
So Colleen contacted our friend, the stone mason Octavio Toscano to
improve it:
- set the path in a cement base
- eliminate the cracks
- put a curve in it, to (a) make it more visually interesting (b) shield
the back door from view of a stranger standing in the driveway.
- and also firm up the stepping stones through the baby mondo grass
"lawn"
- and reduce the step-up from the garden to the deck
